Hauling Empire — Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the Hauling Empire game and its online services (the "Game"). They add to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/), which also applies. If these terms conflict with Apple's EULA on a matter Apple requires, Apple's EULA wins. By playing you accept these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. A Turkish version is available.

1. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and supervise any purchases.

2. Your account

The Game creates an account for you automatically. You can protect it with Sign in with Apple and Game Center. An unprotected guest account can be lost if you delete the app or change devices, and we may not be able to restore it. You are responsible for activity on your account. Do not sell, share or transfer your account. You can delete your account at any time in Me › Settings › Account & cloud save.

3. Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Game for your own non-commercial entertainment, under these terms and Apple's EULA. All rights in the Game (code, art, maps, text, names) belong to us or our licensors. Some map data and 3D assets are used under open licences; their notices are shown in the Game.

4. Virtual items, currency and purchases

In-game money, trucks, tokens, cosmetic items and other virtual items have no real-world value, are licensed to you (not sold), and cannot be exchanged for real money or transferred to other players except through features the Game provides.
Purchases are processed by Apple. Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com); we cannot issue refunds ourselves. If Apple refunds a purchase, we may remove the items it delivered.
Subscriptions (such as Hauling Pro) renew automatically until you cancel them in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
A free trial of Online mode, if offered, is available once per Apple ID or email.
If you live in the EU / EEA, UK or Türkiye, you keep any statutory consumer rights (including withdrawal rights) that apply to digital content bought through the App Store; for purchases delivered immediately, you agree to immediate delivery and understand this may end the withdrawal right where the law allows.

5. Online mode and community rules

Online mode is a shared world. When you use chat, messages, usernames, company names, bios or guild features you agree to these rules:

Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, threats, or sexual content.
No spam, advertising, scams, or sharing personal information (yours or anyone else's).
No impersonation of other players, the developer, Apple or other companies.
No cheating: no modified clients, bots, automation, exploiting bugs, or multiple accounts to gain an advantage or manipulate the shared market or leaderboards. Report bugs instead of using them.
Do not attack, overload or try to access parts of our servers you are not meant to.

Offensive words are filtered automatically. You can report and block any player at any time.

6. Moderation and enforcement

We aim to review reports within 24 hours. We may remove content, rename offensive usernames or company names, reset or remove progress, items or leaderboard results gained unfairly, mute, suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these terms. Serious cases may be reported to authorities. We try to act fairly and proportionately; if you think we made a mistake, contact us and a human will review it. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write (usernames, company names, bios, messages, feedback). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and transmit it as needed to run the Game (for example, to show your company name to other players or deliver your messages), and to use feedback to improve the Game without obligation to you. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to post it.

8. Changes and availability

The Game is a live service that changes over time. We may add, change, rebalance or remove features, content, maps or items, reset online worlds or leaderboards, and we may suspend or end the online service. An internet connection is required for online features. We will give reasonable in-game notice before permanently shutting down online services. We do not promise that the Game will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Disclaimer

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The Game is entertainment: economic, legal, tax and road rules in it are simplified and are not real-world advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, virtual items or progress, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the Game and in-game purchases in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence), or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in the EU / EEA, UK or Türkiye, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring claims in your local courts or consumer authorities (in Türkiye, consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts).

12. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Game or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any product claims, intellectual-property claims or legal-compliance claims relating to the Game. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

13. Ending these terms

You can stop at any time by deleting your account and the app. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections 4 (no real-world value), 7, 9, 10, 11 and 12 survive termination.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date and, for significant changes, tell you in the Game before they take effect. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply.
