Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Poleris mobile application on iOS and Android (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you downloaded the App from the App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

What Poleris is (and is not)

Poleris is a daily-practice app: intentions, the 369 method, tasks with reminders, morning and evening rituals, a 21-Day Journey, affirmations, breathing, guided meditations, sleep sounds, a vision board, streaks, a profile with stats and badges, share cards, and support messages between friends. Optional features based on your birth details personalize your daily note and power shareable compatibility cards. All content is for reflection, habit-building and entertainment. Poleris is not a source of medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and its content should not be relied on as a substitute for professional guidance.

Your account

• An account is optional for most of the App and required for Friends. You must be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires).
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You can delete your account at any time in Profile → "Delete account". Deleting your account or the App does not cancel a subscription; see "Subscriptions" below.

Friends and community rules

Friends let you add people by handle, see streaks they choose to share, and send fixed support messages or today's affirmation card. There is no free-text chat. When you use Friends, you agree that you will not:

• choose a display name or handle that is offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening, or that impersonates another person or brand;
• harass, bully, threaten or spam other users, including through repeated messages or shared cards;
• try to get around blocks, rate limits or other safety features.

You can block or report anyone from the Friends screen; reporting also blocks the user. We review every report within 24 hours. We may remove an inappropriate name or handle, limit Friends features, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data.
• Do not interfere with or overload the service.

Subscriptions

Poleris Premium is optional. It is offered as an auto-renewing monthly subscription ($4.99/month) or yearly subscription ($29.99/year), or the equivalent in your local currency, each with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. The current price and what Premium includes are shown in the App before you subscribe. The free version of the App remains available without a subscription.

• App Store (iOS): payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (on newer iOS versions: Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
• Google Play (Android): payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in the Google Play app → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
• Subscribers can also open these pages from the App: Profile → "Manage subscription". Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Intellectual property

The App, its design, and its content (excluding content you create) are owned by us. You retain rights to content you create (such as intentions, notes, your own affirmations and vision board images). Share cards you create may include the Poleris name and a link to the App.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or from the conduct of other users.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
